Occupational therapists work with individuals of all ages in a highly individualized manner. They evaluate the needs of the individual across his specific daily environments and then create a customized plan of intervention to improve functioning and wellbeing. Quantifiable goals are established; frequent assessments are conducted to determine the effectiveness of the treatment plan.
